Kankalaba Town Hall Special Delegation Presents Report to Residents

Leraba: The Special Delegation of the rural commune of Kankalaba, led by Blaise Arnaud Zomodo, presented its management report from 2022 to 2025 to the residents on Saturday, December 6, 2025. The event was presided over by Yeonviel Some, the Secretary General of the Leraba Province, representing the High Commissioner of the Province.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the accountability day was organized to fulfill the delegation's duty to the community. The rural commune of Kankalaba, located 20 kilometers west of Sindou, hosted the event where achievements from 2022 to 2025 were reviewed.

Key accomplishments included improvements in access to drinking water, enhancement of educational facilities through rehabilitation, and upgrades to health infrastructure such as dispensaries and maternity wards. These were identified as essential areas of achievement.

The event facilitated direct and frank exchanges between the population and the special delegation members, leading to discussions on future development prospects for Kankalaba.

Blaise Arnaud Zomodo expressed satisfaction with the population's receptiveness and the constructive exchanges that took place, which provided clarifications and set the stage for future development actions in the commune.

Yeonviel Some also voiced his satisfaction with the delegation's efforts in reporting their achievements to the residents. He encouraged the community to support the special delegation in their ongoing efforts for the future and welfare of Kankalaba.
