Gogo:The Secretary General of the Gogo commune, Karim Dao, emphasized the importance of local production and consumption during the launch of the second phase of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) on Friday.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event took place at the Gogo town hall and was attended by various constituted bodies and students, featuring a ceremonial raising of the national colors.

During his speech, Karim Dao encouraged all community segments to actively participate in promoting local production and consumption. He stressed that everyone should be key players in this initiative.

Dao also addressed the importance of road safety, urging road users to adhere to safety regulations, including the mandatory use of motorcycle helmets, warning that non-compliance would result in penalties.

He called on the public to adopt responsible behaviors and contribute to promoting civic values, local consumption, and road safety at their respective levels.
