Kénédougou: The final of the Samogohiri Basic Education District (CEB) sports activities took place on Friday, April 24, 2026, at the Samogohiri 'A' field, in the presence of local administrative authorities. The event was held under the theme: 'Sport and Culture, Factors of Individual and Collective Promotion in Primary School.'According to Burkina Information Agency, the sporting activities of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Samogohiri came to an end on Friday, April 24, 2026 on the Samogohiri "A" field. In women's football, the Diolé team prevailed against Saraba after a penalty shootout. In the boys' competition, Samogohiri A also won against Samogohiri C, after a penalty shootout.The event promoter, Ladji Ouattara, stated that these competitions aim to promote the practice of sport in primary schools. He highlighted the integration of women's football teams as a major innovation of this edition.The Diolé team, ranked first, received an envelope containing 25,000 CFA francs, a set of jerseys, a ball and a trophy. The Saraba team received 20,000 CFA francs, a set of jerseys and a ball. In the boys' category, Samogohiri A won an envelope of 25,000 CFA francs, a set of jerseys, a ball and a trophy, while Samogohiri C, second, went home with an envelope of 20,000 CFA francs, a set of jerseys and a ball.
