Kénédougou/Peace effort: The Canton of Tagbara offers 1,685,000 CFA

The head of Tagbara Canton, Gaoussou Traoré, presented, this Monday, July 1, 2024 , to the high commissioner of the province of Kénédougou, Saïdou Sakira, a receipt from the Public Treasury in the amount of 1 685,000 FCFA, for contribution to the peace effort.The delivery of this receipt in the amount of 1,685,000 FCFA took place on the morning of Monday July 1, 2024 in the office of the high commissioner.According to the head of Tagbara canton, Gaoussou Traoré, through this gesture, the communities under its territorial jurisdiction adhere to the government's invitation to the peace effort.'This fund was able to be mobilized thanks to the contribution of 28 villages from its canton,' he said.He also launched a heartfelt cry to the authorities for the improvement of the telephone network and the rehabilitation of the Koloko-Sifarasso road axis.Gaoussou Traoré and his family hoped that Burkina Faso could regain its former peace.In turn, the high commissioner of the province of Kénédougou, Saïdou Sa kira, thanked the leader and his delegation for this laudable initiative which aims to support the FDS and the VDP in the reconquest of the national territory.Regarding the concerns raised, Mr. Sakira said he had taken note of them and will pass them on to the appropriate person.Source: Burkina Information Agency
