K©n©dougou: The High Commissioner of the K©n©dougou province, Sadou Sakira, officially launched the written examinations for the 2026 baccalaureate on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Diongolo Traor© provincial high school in Orodara. On this occasion, he invited the candidates to demonstrate seriousness, discipline, and composure throughout the examination process.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner, accompanied by his close collaborators, officials from the Defense and Security Forces, as well as actors in the education system, visited several examination rooms to encourage candidates before the start of the tests. Addressing the candidates, the provincial authority urged them to remain focused and confident in their abilities. “The baccalaureate is the culmination of several years of effort and sacrifice. I encourage you to approach these exams with calm, determination, and honesty so that your results truly reflect the work you have accomplished,” he said.
For this session, the province of K©n©dougou has registered 1,739 candidates, including 815 girls and 924 boys, distributed across five examination centers with nine juries. Poussi Kabor©, president of jury 114, housed at the Diongolo Traor© provincial high school, stated that all necessary arrangements were made to ensure the smooth running of the exam. He indicated that the first hours of the exams were proceeding well, without any major difficulties reported.
The provincial director in charge of secondary education, Lassina Coulibaly, also sent a message of encouragement to the candidates. He urged them to manage their time effectively, to read the exam questions carefully, and to avoid any form of stress that could affect their performance.
