K©n©dougou: The Banzon Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) welcomed a team from the mobile clinic of the Guiriko region this Friday as part of a breast and cervical cancer screening campaign for women aged 25 to 55. This initiative aims to strengthen the prevention and early detection of these diseases in order to reduce the risk of complications in women.
According to Burkina Information Agency, upon their arrival, the members of the medical team were received by the major of the Banzon CSPS, Souleymane Konat©, who praised the organization of this health activity for the benefit of local populations. The team was presented to local administrative authorities by the head of the medical team, Dr. Mamadou Diabat©. He explained that this operation aims to bring screening services closer to the population, particularly women living in areas far from major health centers.
The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the Banzon Si© Poda commune expressed his satisfaction with the screening campaign being held in the commune. According to him, this initiative will not only raise awareness among women about the dangers of these cancers, but also promote early treatment of detected cases. He also expressed his gratitude to the health authorities and partners for their efforts to improve access to healthcare for the people of Banzon.
