K©n©dougou: The Association of Dozos Without Borders of K©n©dougou, in partnership with the provincial directorate of Water and Forests, conducted the 4th edition of its annual reforestation initiative on Thursday, July 17, 2025. This effort took place at sector 3 in the city of Orodara, where 300 medicinal plants were planted.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the campaign organized by the Dozos sans Fronti¨re aimed at planting 300 medicinal species mainly to conserve plants that face threats of extinction. These species, once abundant, are now declining due to factors such as human activity and climate change.

Lassina Ouattara, the president of the Association of Dozos Without Borders of K©n©dougou, emphasized the need to prioritize species that aid in maintaining traditional medicine. He highlighted its significance in cultural preservation and community health. Ouattara expressed gratitude towards the participants, notably the youth, and urged the community to ensure the care and survival of the newly planted species.
