The President of the special delegation (PDS) of Orodara, Emmanuel Konat©, delivered, on Saturday, March 22, 2025 in Orodara, with his team, the assessment of the 2024 management of the commune of Orodara.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Emmanuel Konat© emphasized the necessity of transparency and stakeholder involvement in the management of public affairs, aligning with the requirements of the General Code of Local Authorities. He detailed the functioning of the special delegation, the implementation of the 2024 budget, and the achievements for the benefit of the population.
In terms of revenue mobilization, the PDS reported a forecast of 896,760,827 CFA francs, with the municipality mobilizing 747,745,583 CFA francs, achieving a rate of 82.38%. This revenue facilitated investments in education, health, water and sanitation, culture, and local governance.
Konat© highlighted that in terms of own revenue, out of a forecast of 183,133,770 CFA francs, the amount raised was 197,470,670 CFA francs, reaching a rate of 107%. He also addressed challenges such as tax incivility and the failure of companies awarded contracts.
Looking ahead to 2025, Mr. Konat© sought support from all stakeholders to tackle recurring issues faced by the population. Following his presentation, audience members were given the opportunity to ask clarification questions, to which the PDS provided responses.
