Koosin: The special delegation of the municipality of Doumbala has successfully completed school infrastructure projects valued at over 28 million CFA francs, benefiting the local population through both new construction and renovations. Under the leadership of Moumouni Diallo, the special delegation has been dedicated to enhancing school infrastructure for the community's benefit.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the projects included the construction of a new classroom building at School "B", equipped with fans, solar panels, and batteries. Additionally, a four-stall latrine block, with one stall designed for students with disabilities, and a well-installed flagpole were constructed, costing 15,194,295 CFA francs. Meanwhile, at School "A", several classrooms that had been damaged by rainwater and human activity were rehabilitated. The existing unusable latrines were replaced with a new four-stall block, including one for students with disabilities, and a new flagpole was erected, amounting to a cost of 13,775,000 CFA francs.
These completed infrastructures signify a revitalized economic life within the municipality. Ambroise Traore, the headmaster of School "A", noted that the improvements have made the municipality a more livable and welcoming place. Ramatou Drame, headmistress of School "B", expressed relief and gratitude, stating the challenging conditions of working in unfinished and damaged buildings are now resolved, thanks to the town hall's efforts.
Eloi Dakio, the first deputy of the special delegation, commended the various projects, emphasizing their aim to enhance the town's institutional prestige and provide a conducive working environment for public servants.
