Koosin: Roland Guiguemde, Head of Human Resources at the DPEPPNF (Directorate of Primary, Secondary and Vocational Education and Training), chaired a consultation meeting on career management this Thursday, April 9, 2026. The meeting brought together officials from the Basic Education Districts (CEB) and teachers.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting on career management included participants from the Basic Education Districts (CEBs) of Djibasso, Madouba, and Kombori, alongside CEB heads. In his presentation, Roland Guiguemde discussed the rights and responsibilities within public administration, highlighting that human resource management extends beyond administrative aspects to encompass human relations.
Mr. Guiguemde recommended that school principals establish a database to predict human resource needs, aiming for a more proactive management approach. He also outlined several school management reforms, such as the preparation of administrative certificates, leave authorizations, and formal notices. These tasks are now assigned to school principals, enhancing their administrative authority.
An important innovation highlighted during the meeting was the ongoing digitization of attendance records. Mr. Guiguemde stressed the significance of public employees understanding the implications of this change to prevent potential issues. He also addressed professional misconduct, detailing the different degrees and associated actions to clarify the applicable rules.
Participants were informed about the clarity of career management rules. Through a question-and-answer session, the teachers became acquainted with the ongoing innovations, ensuring adherence to the regulations. Prior to the meeting, Roland Guiguemde and the Koosin focal point for legal affairs and litigation attended the flag-raising ceremony at the Djibasso "A" school.
