Koosin High Commissioner Advocates for Student Conduct Reform at Flag-Raising Ceremony

Koosin/education: The High Commissioner of the Koosin province, Noufo Dembele, presided over the traditional raising of the colors this Tuesday at the Nouna multipurpose municipal high school. He urged the students to banish vices and deviant attitudes from their behavior. The ceremony was attended by directors and department heads, traditional, customary, and religious authorities, as well as students.

According to Burkina Information Agency, after the raising of the flag, followed by the national anthem sung in unison by all participants, the provincial director in charge of Secondary Education for Kossin, Karfa Ferdinand Boni, praised the honor bestowed upon the educational community at the start of 2026.

The High Commissioner, Noufo Dembele, explained the reasons for choosing this particular school, highlighting the period of civic and patriotic education for students, an instruction given at the highest levels of government. He emphasized that students are the future of the country and deserve education in values such as fraternity, patriotism, and social cohesion.

Dembele further expressed the duty to convey messages to students to eliminate vices and deviant behaviors, emphasizing unity. He called on the province's key stakeholders to support Captain Ibrahim Traore's vision, including initiatives like quality education, quality healthcare, and the transformation of Faso Mebo into an agency for endogenous development.

Addressing public servants, Dembele referred to recent images broadcast on national television by KORAG, urging everyone to rid themselves of corruption.
