Koosin: The Minister of Justice, Human Rights and Relations with Parliament, Keeper of the Seals, Edasso Rodrigue Bayala, honored with his presence, this Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the rotating raising of the colors at the High Court, which reopened its doors after three years of relocation for security reasons. The justice system has returned to Nouna, after 3 years of relocation, to work alongside public officials to contribute to strengthening the state's presence throughout the territory.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the presence of the Minister of Justice, Edasso Rodrigue Bayala, at the raising of the colors, enhanced the splendor of the ceremony. After the flag-raising ceremony, the minister spoke with justice officials and prison security guard personnel. Starting with a tour of the premises, Edossa Rodrigue Bayala saw firsthand the work that had been done.
Through a direct exchange with justice actors and prison security guard personnel, Minister Bayala urged them to take ownership of the reforms undertaken. According to him, the new vision of justice is that it must be credible, accessible, and not a justice that isolates itself. "Justice should be like a sick person going to the hospital; what concerns them is diligent and effective care that brings about psychological healing," he said.
When asked what the expectations of the actors at the Nouna High Court are, he stated that there is still much to be done. 'However, we ask them to do the bare minimum, to give more of themselves despite the difficulties encountered. The government, through the Ministry of Justice, will try to do what it can with the resources available, as has already been done for the administration of justice,' said Edasso Rodrigue Bayala. The prosecutor of Faso, Armel Noumassi Sama, welcomed the presence of the minister, which demonstrates the government's interest in the province.
