Ouagadougou: A joint mission led by the provincial director of Communication and Culture, Sanou Dembele, and the provincial director of Youth and Employment, Nouhoun Traore, visited Djibasso to connect with local stakeholders and plan activities tailored to address their concerns. The visit, conducted on July 29, 2026, marked the first step in understanding the needs of the local youth to formulate initiatives that support their development.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the mission focused on organizing panels, conferences, and cultural events to highlight the talents of young people in Djibasso and promote local development. During their visit, the officials met with Soumala Ganame, the first vice-president of the special delegation of Djibasso, and Yacouba Bonde, the Opportunity-Integration Referent, to discuss strategies for socio-economic integration of the youth.
The discussions emphasized the importance of providing information and support to young people to enhance their access to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities. Soumala Ganame expressed his approval of the initiative, acknowledging the potential of Djibasso's youth and the benefits of collaboration with state technical services to foster an environment that encourages their full participation in community development.
