Koosin: The High Commissioner of the Koosin province, Noufo Dembele, presided over a ceremony at the prison and correctional facility, highlighting the theme of patriotic commitment.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event took place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, featuring the participation of administrative, customary, and religious authorities who sang the national anthem, the ditanye, in unison. Cyril Tapsoba, director of the Nouna detention and correctional facility, expressed gratitude to the authorities for selecting the communal house for the ceremony and commended the collaboration between the Defense and Security Forces (FDS).
High Commissioner Noufo Dembele addressed the province's vital forces, acknowledging the dedication of the FDS and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). Dembele emphasized that their sacrifices enable citizens to conduct their daily activities and explained that the choice of location aligns with ongoing justice reforms.
Under the leadership of President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, state reforms have led to advancements in education and healthcare, marked by the reopening of Health and Social Promotion Centers (CSPS). The Faso Mªbo presidential initiative, launched in Boromo, aims to improve living conditions through public works brigades.
Dembele also expressed gratitude to local economic operators for supporting the VDP with food donations and acknowledged the anonymous contribution of a nun. The public's commitment was recognized for its diverse contributions to the province's welfare.
