Koudougou: A 600-Meter Paved Road Donated to the Municipality

Koudougou: A 600 linear meter paved street was officially inaugurated on Saturday, June 20, in sector 2 (Zakin district), at the initiative of Razang Naaba Poulma Noogo, economic operator and CEO of Cave Poulma companies. The ceremony was held under the patronage of the president of the special delegation of the Koudougou municipality, Am©d©e Par©, with the participation of the technical coordinator of the Presidential Initiative for Community Development, Dominique Konombo, representing the national coordinator, Commander Marcel M©da. The president of the National Commission of the AES, Bassolma Bazi©, was the guest of honor at the event.

According to Burkina Information Agency, built using the donor's own funds, this infrastructure is part of the Presidential Initiative for Community Development, which encourages citizens and economic operators to contribute to the development of their localities. In his speech, the chairman of the organizing committee, O. Fran§ois Valea, praised the patriotic commitment of Razang Naaba Poulma Noogo, stressing that his gesture constitutes a concrete response to the call made by the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, in favor of citizen participation in national development.

For the donor, this achievement is the result of the combined efforts of its companies operating in Burkina Faso, Mali, Ivory Coast, and Togo. It encouraged Burkinabe business operators to expand their activities beyond national borders to strengthen their capacity to invest in their country of origin. "Sometimes we need to stop and think about what we can do for our community, our employees and our country," he said, calling for a focus on useful and sustainable work for the benefit of the people.

The president of the Koudougou special delegation, Am©d©e Par©, welcomed an initiative that will contribute to improving user mobility, enhancing the attractiveness of the neighborhood, and improving the living conditions of residents. He expressed his hope that this example would inspire other economic actors to support the municipality's development efforts.

For his part, Dominique Konombo congratulated the donor for his commitment and invited other sons and daughters of Burkina Faso to follow suit. He also urged the local population to ensure the upkeep of the infrastructure to guarantee its long-term viability.

Despite heavy rain that fell on the ceremony site, the participants remained engaged. For Bassolma Bazi©, this rain symbolized a blessing and served as a reminder of the sacrifices made daily by the Defense and Security Forces and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland in the struggle for Burkina Faso's sovereignty.

The president of the National Commission of the AES was quick to congratulate Razang Naaba Poulma Noogo, the donor, for this initiative, which truly responds to the call of the Head of State. According to him, when an initiative aligns with the vision of the Head of State and the Popular Progressive Revolution, he will always be there to support it if asked.

It should be noted that many guests, including administrative, religious, and customary authorities such as the Chief of the Canton of Lall©, His Majesty Naba Guiguemd©, and economic operators from Koudougou, all witnessed the event.
