Koudougou Justice Staff Lend a Hand to Faso Mebo Initiative

Tenkodogo: Civic duty took concrete form this Wednesday in front of the Koudougou Courthouse. As the paving work reached the immediate vicinity of the High Court (TGI), the magistrates, clerks, and administrative staff decided to leave their offices and go down to the site.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this immersion of justice actors in manual labor took place in an atmosphere of genuine camaraderie. As part of the citizen initiative 'Faso Mebo Nando,' the urban development work received a highly symbolic boost from the staff of the Palace of Justice, who got involved in laying the paving stones.

Far from the solemnity of the hearings, the "tenants of the palace" gave it their all, lending a hand to the workers to accelerate the transformation of the front of their workplace. For Marcellin Yameogo, the site manager, this gesture goes beyond mere physical assistance: "Receiving such support from the palace staff is both beneficial and inspiring. It proves that the Faso Mebo project belongs to all Burkinab¨."

This mobilization perfectly illustrates the spirit of the initiative: the co-construction of the country by its own people. By directly participating in the beautification of their building's facade, the employees of the Koudougou High Court demonstrate their commitment to the values of patriotism and participatory development.
