Abuja: The public primary school in sector 10 C of Koudougou, which recorded a success rate of 98.64%, organized on Friday, July 24, a day of excellence, combined with the official closing of the school year, in order to reward the best students and pay tribute to those involved in education.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was attended by educational authorities, parents, teachers, and students. It was marked by speeches from the chairman of the school council, Jacob Zoma, the representative of the Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB), Fran§ois de Salles Yameogo, the school principal, Awadu Bassinga/Sor, and the patron, Pakisba Kinda.

The various speakers praised the teachers' commitment to the results achieved and encouraged the students to continue their efforts in order to maintain this dynamic of excellence. A highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of the most deserving students, with five winners from each class. They received school supply kits as prizes. Recitals and lip-sync performances also enhanced the celebration.

Created on October 1, 2023, the public primary school in sector 10 C now has six classes, 494 students, including 246 boys and 248 girls, supervised by fifteen teachers, including eight women and seven men. In the Primary School Certificate (CEP) examination, 2026 session, the school recorded a success rate of 98.64%. Of the 73 candidates presented, 72 were declared successful, while only one failed.

According to the headmistress, these results reflect the combined efforts of teachers, students, and parents. She noted that the school had achieved a 94% pass rate the previous year and 92% the year before, demonstrating a steady improvement in academic performance.
