Koulpelogo: Ouargaye Celebrates Academic Excellence Amidst Resilience and Patriotism

Nando: The commune of Ouargaye celebrated, on Saturday, the Day of School Excellence of the Basic Education District (CEB), in an atmosphere marked by recognition and resilience, in the presence of administrative, educational, military, customary and religious authorities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was held under the theme "School merit in resilience" and included tributes to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), whose commitment made the event possible. The President of the Special Delegation of Ouargaye, Mahamadou Soulama, who sponsored the ceremony, expressed gratitude towards all actors in the education system for their determination to continue educational activities despite challenges.

Soulama emphasized that learning, teaching, and succeeding in the current context represent acts of resistance and patriotism. He reiterated the importance of education as a fundamental pillar of progress and development, congratulating the teachers, management team, and the Head of the CEB of Ouargaye for achieving satisfactory admission rates to the Primary School Certificate (CEP).

Addressing the award winners, Soulama praised their discipline, perseverance, and diligence, suggesting they embody proof that the school can produce excellence despite difficulties. He also called on parents and partners to continue their commitment to training responsible citizens and contributors to national development.

The Head of the CEB of Ouargaye, Armand Noukoubri, recognized the commitment and resilience of teachers and supervisors, highlighting hard work, perseverance, and passion as keys to success. He paid tribute to the crucial role of teachers in student education and nation-building, urging award winners to continue their efforts with humility and solidarity.

M'Balawind© Fran§ois Tarama, the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Koulp©logo, commended the academic performance in the commune as a mark of recognition towards all education stakeholders. He acknowledged the dedication of teachers, the indispensable support of parents, and the constant backing of partners and authorities.

The day also marked the official launch of sports and cultural activities of the CEB of Ouargaye for the 2025-2026 school year, featuring a football match between Kalgo schools and Centre 'C' of Ouargaye. The Centre 'C' team won by 2-0, amid applause from students, teachers, and guests who supported the young athletes.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of awards to outstanding students, teachers, and other personalities and institutions, fostering a sense of collective pride and reaffirming the educational community's commitment to promoting excellence, cohesion, and resilience in Ouargaye.
