Abuja: The Islamic Benevolence and Social Service Association (ABISS) handed over the keys to new infrastructure to the Franco-Arab school of Niou on Saturday, July 25, 2026, in the presence of religious authorities, parents, teachers, and learners. This initiative marks a significant step in improving the teaching and learning environment within the institution.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation includes a classroom, latrines, a borehole, and a mosque, with a total estimated cost of over 18 million CFA francs. Idrissa Guelb©ogo, representing the president of ABISS, indicated that this project was a response to a request from the school administration and the community. He emphasized the importance of utilizing the infrastructure effectively and encouraged students to focus on their studies, stating, "Only work makes a man."

Idrissa Ou©draogo, speaking on behalf of the teaching staff, expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting its potential to enhance working conditions for supervisors and improve students' academic performance. He conveyed gratitude to ABISS and its partners for making the project possible and called for peace in the country.

Moussa Ou©draogo, representing the parents of students, also extended thanks to the association and urged parents to help maintain the facilities. He encouraged students to be diligent and respectful towards their teachers to gain valuable knowledge.
