Ouagadougou: The general commissioner of the Kund©, Salif Sor©, has promised the public a magical show at the 23rd edition of the Kund©, scheduled for April 25, 2025, at the Ouaga 2000 banquet hall. He invited the public to attend in large numbers to experience the cultural celebration.
According to Burkina Information Agency, preparations for the event are progressing well, with a satisfactory completion rate of 90%. More than 8,000 participants are expected to attend this cultural gathering. The major innovation for this edition is a cocktail reception under air-conditioned marquees before the ceremony begins. The event will also be broadcast live on RTB.
Kund© Commissioner Salif Sor©, also known as Jah Press, hosted a press conference in Ouagadougou to outline the highlights of the 23rd edition of the Kund©, which serves as a barometer of Burkinabe music. During the ceremony, 15 Kund© trophies will be awarded, including 10 main prizes and 5 special prizes. Several prominent artists from Burkinabe and African music scenes are set to perform.
Sor© highlighted that the event provides an opportunity to honor the Defense and Security Forces and to project an image of resilience, showing that despite challenges, life in Burkina Faso continues. The After-Kund© event is scheduled for April 30, 2025, at the Ouaga 2000 Sports Palace, featuring Visit© Himra. Tickets will be available exclusively through the Orange Maxit application.
