Laabal Brigade Enlists Bus Passengers for Cleanup Operation in Bobo-Dioulasso

Bobo-dioulasso: A public transport bus was intercepted on Wednesday around 2 p.m. in Bobo-Dioulasso after a passenger threw a sachet of water out of the window, leading to a cleanup operation involving all the occupants of the vehicle.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Laabal Brigade, present in the area, chased the bus before bringing it back to the place where the waste had been thrown. On site, passengers were invited to collect the waste in the surrounding area, thus contributing to the cleanup of Place de la Femme.

Following the operation, officers from the Laabal Brigade raised awareness among passengers and local residents about the importance of respecting hygiene and public health regulations. They reminded them that uncivil behavior can promote the spread of disease and degrade the living environment. The Place de la Femme was cleaned up before the bus continued its journey.
