Launch of the Regional Off-Grid Electricity Access Project (ROGEAP) and the 8th edition of the ECOWAS Forum on Renewable Energy (ESEF 2023)

These 2 activities were launched on Thursday October 12, 2023 in Praia by HE Ulisses CORREIA E SILVA, Prime Minister of Cape Verde and HE Dr Omar Alieu TOURAY, President of the ECOWAS Commission.

There were also the presence of Commissioner Sediko DOUKA in charge of Infrastructure, Energy and Digitalization, the ECOWAS Resident Representative in Cape Verde, Heads of Agencies and Directors in charge of ECOWAS energy and Representatives of Partners such as the World Bank, the West African Development Bank, the European Union, NGOs and the private sector.
