The Minister of State, Minister of Civil Service and Labor and former union leader, Bassolma Bazié, was represented by his chief of staff Mohamed Sawadogo at the 14th ordinary congress of the Confederation of Workers of Burkina (CNTB) opened this Friday at the Ouagadougou Labor Exchange.The representative of Minister Bazié reassured the workers about the holding of the Government-union meetings and the efforts made by the current government for the workers of today and tomorrow and for all the Burkinabe people."As a union and a player in the world of work, we are on the ground everywhere in Burkina to make our contribution in terms of reflections to the authorities of the country so that they can fight properly and strongly against terrorism in our country," declared the secretary general of the CNTB Marcel Zanté, recalling the contribution of unions to the fight against terrorism.This statutory congress intends, according to the organizers, to take stock of the structure, revise the texts and proceed to the renewal of the members of the executive office of the CNTB.Source: Burkina Information Agency
