Dori: The Liptako and Soum Regional Consultation Framework held its first ordinary session of the year on Wednesday in Dori. The meeting focused on providing an update on the current state of water and electricity distribution in the Dori municipality, as well as discussions on the issue of malnutrition and the contribution of projects, NGOs, and foundations to regional development.According to Burkina Information Agency, the regional director of economy and planning for Liptako and Soum, Harouna Kabore, stated that the session aims primarily to strengthen the coordination of interventions by various actors, in order to promote better synergy of action for the benefit of the people.The participants in this meeting will conduct an in-depth analysis of the situation regarding the distribution of drinking water and electricity in the commune of Dori. The objective is to identify the difficulties encountered and to consider concerted solutions to improve access to essential services.The fight against malnut rition in the Liptako and Soum region is also an important focus of the work. The discussions will allow assessment of the nutritional situation and propose appropriate actions to reduce this issue, particularly among children and vulnerable people.Participants will also analyze the contribution of projects, NGOs, and foundations to the socio-economic development of the region. This reflection aims to better guide interventions and maximize their impact on beneficiary communities.Opening the proceedings, the governor of the Liptako and Soum region, Abdoul Karim Zongo, urged participants to engage in frank and constructive exchanges. He expressed his hope that this session would take place in a spirit of sincere partnership, shared responsibility, and collective commitment, in order to promote harmonious and inclusive development in the Liptako and Soum region.
