Loroum/Titao Municipal Council Adopts Over 79 Million CFA Francs Budget for 2026


Titao: The President of the Titao Special Delegation, Sidiki Ganame, presided over the 4th ordinary session of the Titao Municipal Council on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in Titao. The municipal council adopted the initial budget for 2026, amounting to 79,656,056 CFA francs.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the budget adoption is part of efforts to revitalize basic social services, with a focus on priority sectors such as education, health, and support for youth. The budget outlines expenditures of just over 64 million CFA francs for operations and 15 million CFA francs for investments.



Sidiki Ganame, President of the special delegation of Titao, highlighted the investment priorities, which include the rehabilitation of the CSPS, equipping the youth listening center, and rehabilitating the Titao prefecture and town hall toilets. Three resolutions were adopted to support these initiatives, covering the revision of the tax on public domain occupation, adoption of the 2026 annual investment plan (PAIC), and the initial budget adoption.



In addition to the budget proceedings, attendees received briefings on six strategic communications. Ganame commended the special delegation and municipal technicians for their dedication and urged the local population to actively engage in supporting the budget’s implementation for 2026.
