Bamako: Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb arrived in Bamako on Monday morning for a working and friendship visit, responding to an invitation from Major General Abdoulaye Maga, the Prime Minister and Head of Government of Mali.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this visit is part of efforts to enhance relations between Mali and Algeria, following a previous visit by Major General Abdoulaye Maga to Algiers on August 24, 2026. The visit aims to facilitate direct dialogue between the two nations, with a focus on respecting the interests of each state.
During his stay, Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb is set to deliver a message from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Mali's President of the Transition, General Assimi Gota. Additionally, he will be received by the Head of State and engage in a working session with his counterpart, Major General Abdoulaye Maga.
