Ouagadougou:Sergeant Major Amadou Ouattara, known by his stage name Adou First, officially released his second music video titled "Arrets de jeu" (Game Stopped) on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Naaba Koom II military camp. The music video aims to inspire soldiers involved in anti-terrorism efforts.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Adou First uses a football term in his new song to symbolize the anticipated end of terrorism in the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) region. The music video is directed at both the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and imperialists.
The artist's primary message is to honor the soldiers and boost the morale of his comrades on the battlefield for the full recovery of Burkinabe territory. He emphasized the motivational power of music for soldiers dealing with the physical and psychological challenges of their missions.
The secondary message addresses imperialists who doubted the resilience of the ESA countries, asserting that these nations have demonstrated their capabilities. At the launch event, the first copy of the music video, stored on a USB key, was auctioned for five hundred thousand CFA francs.
Captain Ariel Ramde, commander of the Republican Guard's command and support battalion, highlighted the diverse nature of warfare, noting that it involves not just arms but also arts, culture, and music.
