Mogt©do: The Mogt©do inter-service cup was officially launched on Friday, May 9, 2026. This football competition brings together several bodies and structures of the commune, with the objective of strengthening fraternity and social cohesion.

According to Burkina Information Agency, in the opening match, the merchants' team faced off against the Defense and Security Forces (FDS). The match ended in a victory for the merchants, with a score of 6-1.

The chairman of the organizing committee, Sibiri Florent Zongo, specified that the competition will last for a month. According to him, the initiative aims to promote community spirit and bring the various municipal services closer together through sport. He also praised the commitment of the participating teams and the support of local authorities and other well-wishers, which he considered crucial to the event's success.

Representing the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Mogt©do, Barth©l©my Tapsoba urged participants to demonstrate fair play, discipline, and solidarity throughout the competition. He stated that this tournament provides an opportunity to strengthen social bonds and promote peace within the community.

The inter-service cup aims to be a space for relaxation, fraternity and healthy competition for the people and the different socio-professional groups of Mogt©do.
