Bale: The constituted bodies of the Bal© province attended the monthly rotating raising of the colors on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the provincial directorate of agriculture, headed by soil engineer Samuel Tibi. The High Commissioner of the Bal© province, Martin Bako, paid tribute to the agents of the agriculture, water, animal, and fisheries services for their daily commitment to supporting producers.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the tradition was observed for the sixth time this year by the constituted bodies as part of their monthly gathering to honor the national colors. At the start of this agricultural campaign, the honor fell to the actors of the rural world to host the ceremony under the chairmanship of High Commissioner Bako.

The event served as a major setting for expressing unity and solidarity, showcasing an unwavering attachment to the motherland and respect for the symbols of the republic. Participants from all socio-professional, customary, and religious strata joined in unison under the leadership of the elements of the Republican Security Company at the mast.

Following the raising of the national flag at the provincial agricultural directorate, attendees listened to welcoming remarks from the provincial director and the chairman of the ceremony. Mr. Tibi expressed gratitude to the assembled authorities for their presence and acknowledged the excellent collaboration between various departments, presenting the different departments under his authority and their assigned missions.

Comrade Tibi also provided a brief presentation on major ongoing projects in the province. For the rainy season agricultural campaign, the government is supplying producers with hundreds of tons of inputs and seeds at subsidized prices to support their crops.

High Commissioner Bako commended the agricultural agents for their commitment to achieving the government's objectives for rural areas and their contribution to the development of sovereignty in forestry, livestock, agriculture, and fisheries production. He encouraged them to maintain their spirit of commitment and patriotism in the new season.

Furthermore, the authority congratulated all participants for their constant mobilization at the flag-raising ceremonies, with a special mention supporting the security forces. The constituted bodies began June with a highly patriotic and civic act. "I remind everyone to keep in mind that we are in a revolution and to act in the interests of the ideals of our revolution," concluded Mr. Bako.
