Kongoussi: More than 50 students from Teksum schools were honored during a Day of Academic Excellence organized by the provincial directorate of preschool, primary, and non-formal education (DPEPPNF) of Bam. The event, which took place on Saturday, July 5, aimed to reward outstanding students and teachers from Teksum schools.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony recognized approximately fifty primary school students, five secondary school students, and two higher education students. The recipients were awarded school kits, bicycles, and certificates of recognition for their achievements.
The event was chaired by the High Commissioner of Bam Province, Karim Ou©draogo, and attended by the schools' patron, Per Tor© Teksum, who traveled from Norway for the occasion. This marked the fifth edition of the Day of Excellence, organized in collaboration with the NGO A Better Life Foundation.
