Mouhoun Baccalaureate Exams Begin in Tch©riba with 219 Participants


Mouhoun: The Secretary General of the Tch©riba municipality, Guiguima Sanou, officially inaugurated the written examinations for the 2026 baccalaureate session at jury 20 of the Tch©riba departmental high school. A total of 219 candidates are participating in these examinations.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the candidates are divided between series A4 and series D. Specifically, 117 candidates are enrolled in series A4, consisting of 55 boys and 62 girls, while series D comprises 102 candidates, with 56 boys and 46 girls.



The chairman of jury 20, Charles Roger Yabr©, acknowledged the effective organizational efforts made by the host institution and the involvement of various stakeholders committed to the successful conduct of the exam. He expressed satisfaction with the calm atmosphere in which the exams commenced and reported no major incidents. He urged candidates to maintain calmness, confidence, and focus throughout the examination period.



Mr. Yabr© emphasized the importance of adhering strictly to examination guidelines and cautioned against any fraudulent acts or behaviors that might jeopardize their candidacy. The educational support mission, led by Life and Earth Sciences inspector Cl©ment Ki, echoed similar sentiments, urging candidates to stay focused on their goals and maintain exemplary conduct during the exams.



Guiguima Sanou reassured the candidates that the exercises in the exams are a continuation of their learning journey. He encouraged them to trust their abilities and face the challenges with serenity. Following the customary checks and under the supervision of security forces, Mr. Sanou opened the envelopes containing the exam papers. On the first day, candidates in series A4 tackled the philosophy exam, while those in series D took the French exam.
