Ouagadougou: Agents from the Regional Directorate of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training (DRESFPT) of Bankui and Sourou, along with the Association of Sons and Daughters for the Development of Nayala in Ddougou, have collectively contributed 187,500 FCFA to aid the Faso Mªbo Agency. This contribution, made on July 14, 2026, is aimed at supporting the acquisition of cement for construction projects under the initiative.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the agents of the DRESFPT contributed 107,500 FCFA, which was validated by a receipt of payment to the Faso Mªbo Agency's account. The regional director of secondary education and vocational and technical training of Bankui and Sourou, Raoul Sanon, handed over the receipt to Bassouleymane Ouattara, the High Commissioner of the Mouhoun province. Sanon noted that the funds were raised through a voluntary subscription by the agents at the regional directorate's headquarters.
"This mobilization reflects the commitment of workers in the education and training sector to support national development efforts and to contribute, beyond their professional missions, to actions of collective interest," Sanon explained. He emphasized that this initiative aligns with the call from the President of Faso, urging citizens to demonstrate solidarity and patriotism in supporting the nation's developmental goals.
The Association of Sons and Daughters for the Development of Nayala in Ddougou contributed an additional 80,000 FCFA to the Faso Mªbo initiative. The association's president, Clment Ki, stated that this sum was sourced from the profits of the first edition of the San Cultural Days, an event aimed at promoting the cultural heritage of the San people. Ki highlighted that the association chose to dedicate these resources to national development efforts, in line with the presidential call for solidarity.
Upon receiving the contributions, the High Commissioner of the Mouhoun province commended the patriotic commitment of both organizations. He congratulated the donors for their solidarity and civic responsibility, encouraging them to maintain this momentum in support of national development initiatives.
