MPAP Unveils 2026 Initiatives with 4.5 Billion CFA Francs ‘School of Peace’ Project in Kabinou

Ramongo: The MPAP launches its 2026 activities, including a "School of Peace" project costing 4.5 billion CFA francs in Kabinou. The ceremony, held under the banner of patriotism and social cohesion, took place in the presence of a host of administrative, customary, and religious authorities.According to Burkina Information Agency, the launch was placed under the patronage of Naaba Saaga, chief of Kabinou, and the sponsorship of Mr. Sampawendé Ismaël Ouédraogo, CEO of ISMO International, with Dr. Samuel Kalkoundo, special advisor to the Presidency of Faso and founder of MPAP, as the guest of honor. The flagship project for 2026 is the construction of the "Kabinou Peace School," with a total cost of 4,500,000,000 CFA francs, intended to foster national unity.Mr. Wendtenda Paul Marie Zoma, national president of MPAP, emphasized that the school would welcome young people from all regions of Burkina Faso, without ethnic or religious distinction. "The objective is to offer a quality technical and vocational tr aining framework, supported by civic education based on the values of solidarity and patriotism," he stated. The movement plans to optimize the budget through an innovative educational approach known as "learning by doing," which will utilize learners' skills to contribute directly to building the infrastructure, thereby enhancing their sense of belonging.The day was marked by significant events, including the inauguration of a drinking water borehole donated by the sponsor, Mr. Ismaël Ouédraogo, who urged the people of Burkina Faso to rely on their own strength. "Sharing and unity are our best defenses against divisions," he remarked, adding a financial contribution to help start the work.On the ideological front, the MPAP, in partnership with the Sheikh Moaze Foundation for Social Cohesion, launched 'STOPXTREM,' an initiative to prevent radicalization through interreligious dialogue. Sheikh Soufi Moaze Ouédraogo condemned hate speech, advocating for a return to values of love for one's neighbor.The MP AP also announced the 6th edition of the APA (Ambassador of Peace Awards), which will honor citizens committed to the nation. The outlook for the year includes the effective start of the school construction project, the national rollout of the STOPXTREM program, and the strengthening of support for internally displaced persons (IDPs).The ceremony concluded with the presentation of the architectural plan for the future school and the handing over of donations, including mats and various materials, to the population of Kabinou, who mobilized massively to support this promising project. </description>
