Musician Eldjane Manace Calls for Unity and Living Together Through His Song “Tindere”

Bittou: The musician, Eldjane Manace, whose civil status is Toure Omar, delivered a magnificent performance, calling on music lovers for unity and living together, during the ceremony celebrating academic excellence, organized by the Basic Education District (CEB) of Bittou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the artist performed his hit song "Tindere," a song rich in messages of peace and social cohesion. Through this work, Eldjane Manace called upon the sons and daughters of the Bittou community to unite in a sacred union, while urging them to abandon hateful rhetoric and divisive behavior.

The artist explained that "Tindere," which means "devil's shed" in Fulfulde, is a metaphor denouncing the places and practices where hatred, discord, and the manipulation of minds are born. He emphasized that it is time to close these symbolic sheds and open those of peace, love, and mutual respect, a statement that was met with applause from the audience.

Eldjane Manace particularly highlighted the role of youth, urging them to promote living together, acceptance of all religious and ethnic communities, and tolerance as the foundation of a harmonious society. He also pointed out the importance of joking relationships, describing them as a living example of traditional Burkinab¨ values that foster social cohesion.
