Nahouri: A strong wind caused material damage on the evening of Friday, April 18, 2025, in the rural commune of Zecco, a town located about fifty kilometers east of the city of P´, the AIB noted on site.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the violent wind caused significant damage, though no human lives were lost. Residents of the village of Arroumbissi reported that houses were defaced, trees were uprooted, and both religious buildings and school infrastructure suffered damage.

The Village Development Advisor (CVD) of Arroumbissi, N's´ Bakieka, urged the population to observe precautionary measures in the event of wind or rain as the season begins.
