Ouagadougou: A business operator from Cinkans contributes 20 tons of cement to Faso Mªbo The Secretary General of the Nakamb region, Comrade Tassr Nacoulma, received a donation of 20 tons of cement worth over 2 million CFA francs this Thursday morning at the Faso Mªbo site in Tenkodogo. The donation was made by Comrade Moussa Tapsoba, a merchant based in Cinkans, who stated that he was responding to the call of the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor, to build the country through the efforts of Burkinab¨ themselves.

According to Burkina Information Agency, coming from Cinkans, a border town in the Centre-East, the donor was keen to make the trip to see firsthand the work done and to contribute to national development. "I am here this morning to answer the call of Captain Ibrahim Traor, who invited all Burkinabe to join hands to transform Burkina Faso into a true Eldorado," said Comrade Tapsoba. 'We are the ones who will build Burkina Faso; no one else will do it for us. That's what brought me here to play my part,' he continued. He then invited all citizens to mobilize, each according to their means, 'whether it's a bag of cement or a wheelbarrow of sand.'

For the regional administration, this gesture goes beyond a simple material contribution. It is proof of popular support for the presidential initiative Faso Mªbo. According to the Secretary General of the Nakamb region, comrade Tassr Nacoulma, the trader's approach was motivated by what he saw on the ground. "Comrade Tapsoba toured the site and saw the work being done here in our region by Faso Mªbo. He observed that it is concrete work, fantastic work. That is what motivated him," emphasized Comrade Nacoulma. On behalf of the regional authorities, he praised an act of patriotism which, according to him, demonstrates a perfect understanding of the Head of State's call. "He clearly understood that it is the sons and daughters of Burkina Faso who will build Burkina Faso," he insisted.

Taking the opportunity, comrade Nacoulma made an urgent appeal to all the active forces of the Nakamb region, to the nationals and to the diaspora, to follow in the footsteps of the trader from Cinkans. He reminded everyone that all donations are welcome at the various Faso Mªbo sites: cement, sand, granite, equipment and machinery. The Secretary General also stressed the crucial need for volunteer human resources to make paving stones for the beautification of cities. Beyond urban beautification, he announced the imminent arrival in the region of the Faso Mªbo mobile brigade, whose mission will be to open and rehabilitate rural roads in order to open up isolated localities.

In conclusion, Comrade Nacoulma thanked the donor and expressed his wish that God would "bless his endeavors." He reaffirmed that Faso Mªbo's doors remain wide open to all those of goodwill who wish to contribute, through their donations or their work, to building a Burkina Faso where life is good.
