Namentenga: The Secretary General of the Namentenga province, Bassouleymane Ouattara, initiated the written exams for the 2025 Baccalaureate session at the Boulsa provincial high school, with various provincial officials in attendance. A total of 453 candidates are competing for the Baccalaureate.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the candidates include 140 boys and 313 girls, all aiming to complete the Baccalaureate 2025 session in Namentenga. The Secretary General expressed his hopes for a successful outcome, encouraging the students of series D to strive for success.
Mr. Ouattara, during the commencement of the exams, opened the French exam envelope and advised the candidates to remain calm while tackling the Baccalaureate exams.
The provincial director of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training, Sibiri Abdoulaye Yarbanga, noted a decrease in the number of candidates compared to the 2024 session, which had 569 candidates. He hopes that the reopening of secondary school classes in Dargo and Tougouri high schools will lead to an increase in the number of candidates in the upcoming sessions.
