Ouagadougou: Nando's mission officer, Pema Neya, commends the community commitment in Koualio for the construction of a CSPS (Primary Health Care and Promotion Center). A delegation led by the representative of the Presidency of Faso to the Nando region, Pema Neya, visited Koualio, in the commune of Tnado, on Friday, September 11, to encourage local people mobilized in the construction of a Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the visit provided an opportunity to see firsthand the involvement of the residents (old, young, and children) who joined forces to acquire this health infrastructure. Also present alongside the mission officer were the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Tnado, Asm¨de Dianda, the Chief Medical Officer of the district (MCD), Hamado Benjamin Sawadogo, as well as the focal points Babou Birba and Ibrahim Bonkoungou.

This field visit aimed to provide institutional support and technical advice to ensure the proper execution of the work. Praising the bravery of the residents, Pema Neya emphasized the significance of this initiative. "Beyond the tangible achievement, this local initiative illustrates the vitality of citizen participation, social cohesion, and the spirit of solidarity within the community," he stated. He then addressed the people, saying, "You have understood the call of the Head of State, who expects communities to demonstrate their capacity and determination to take their destiny into their own hands."

Members of the delegation, including the PDS and the MCD of Tnado, expressed their satisfaction with the concrete progress of the project. For their part, the residents of Koualio, through their spokesperson, reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining this momentum without fail.

After actively participating in the work, the delegation concluded its visit by urging other localities in the province of Sangui and the Nando region to follow Koualio's lead, elevating such initiatives to the status of pillars of local sovereignty.
