Ouagadougou: The Association of Directors, Heads of Regional Services and Similar Officials of Nazinon launched its 2026 program of activities on Thursday in Manga with a sports walk followed by an aerobics session, in order to strengthen the cohesion, solidarity and well-being of the regional administration officials.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was held under the patronage of the Governor of Nazinon, Massadalo Yvette Nacoulma, and gathered regional directors, heads of departments, partners, and guests around the values of fraternity and team spirit. The Regional Director of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism of Nazinon, Ouandema Didier Yameogo, who is also the President of the Association, explained that the structure aims to offer a framework for exchanges and rapprochement between administrative officials, beyond professional obligations.
Ouandema Didier Yameogo emphasized that life is not just about work and highlighted the importance of sharing moments of conviviality to create synergy. He noted that the choice of sport reflects a desire to promote the health and well-being of public servants, and announced plans for the Association to contribute to national initiatives by encouraging regional directors to visit tourist sites during the domestic tourism season.
Governor Massadalo Yvette Nacoulma praised the initiative, stating it promotes cohesion and energizes the execution of public service missions. She stressed the need for this dynamic to extend beyond regional directors to include all servants of the people, fostering ideals of solidarity, fraternity, and commitment to serving the populace.
Raymond Bagr, head of the Manga Mobile Customs Brigade, representing the Director General of Customs of Nazinon, urged administrative officials to maintain exemplary conduct, discipline, synergy of action, and proximity to the people to enhance the quality of public services. The Association's president reiterated the structure's commitment to being an open framework based on solidarity and mutual aid, expressing gratitude to the Defense and Security Forces, the Governor, sponsors, and all participants for their support.
