Nazinon Police Launch Operation “Hard Head Shield” to Enforce Helmet Usage

Manga:The Nazinon National Police have intensified their efforts to enforce helmet usage among motorcyclists through "Operation Hard Head Shield." This operation is being conducted in collaboration with the Regional Traffic and Road Safety Service, the Anti-Crime Brigade (BAC), and the Group of Republican Security Companies (GCRS) of Manga.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the operation aims to ensure compliance with helmet-wearing regulations, despite previous awareness campaigns on road safety. The regional director of the National Police of Nazinon, Chief Commissioner of Police Saïdou Ouoba, has directed his team to strengthen checks to uphold road safety measures.

Chief Commissioner Ouoba, while present on the ground to motivate the deployed teams, observed that some individuals continue to ride without helmets, notwithstanding the educational campaigns and rule reminders. He emphasized that wearing a helmet is a personal responsibility and crucial for safeguarding human life.

The commissioner also criticized the uncivil behaviors that hinder the authorities' efforts to improve road safety. Through "Operation Hard Head Shield," the Nazinon National Police are determined to combat non-compliance with helmet regulations and promote road safety awareness among the public.

The police services are urging the public to adhere to road safety rules to prevent accidents and minimize the risk of severe injuries.
