New CCEB Leader of Koupela 1 Pledges Transparent and Fair Educational Governance

Koupela: The new CCEB of Koupela 1, Omer Belembaogo, pledged on Thursday in Koupela to meet the needs of schools, to work in transparency, fairness and respect for the texts in order to maintain a climate of trust, and to prioritize teamwork, during his installation.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Omer Belembaogo was installed in his new position as head of the Koupela 1 Basic Education District by the President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Koupela, Moumouni Sagnon, in the presence of the provincial director of education of Kourittenga, Marcel Yogo.

The new CCEB of Koupela 1 affirmed, during this ceremony, that it will be attentive to all stakeholders in order to make appropriate decisions. He also pledged to meet the needs of schools, to work transparently, fairly and in accordance with regulations to maintain a climate of trust, and to promote teamwork, convinced that school is a collective endeavor.

'I would like to reassure all stakeholders that the achievements left by my predecessor will be preserved and consolidated. I know I can count on your availability, your commitment and your professionalism to improve academic performance, strengthen educational governance and promote an inclusive, safe and fulfilling learning environment,' he said.

The Koupela District Commissioner, Moumouni Sagnon, reminded the newly installed CCEB (Local Economic and Social Council) of its assigned missions, while reaffirming his willingness to support it. He also paid tribute to the outgoing CCEB, Christophe Yameogo, for his work.

Upon his departure from the CCEB, Christophe Yameogo reviewed his accomplishments while also addressing the remaining challenges. He congratulated his successor, wished him every success, and assured him of his availability should he need anything.

The provincial director in charge of primary education in Kourittenga, Marcel Yogo, praised the performance of the outgoing CCEB and encouraged the incoming CCEB to promote and maintain participatory management based on dialogue, transparency and cohesion.
