New Provincial Office of CNAVC/Tuy Pledges Commitment to Order and Discipline


Ouagadougou: The new provincial office of the CNAVC is committed to order and discipline in service to the nation. The members of the new provincial office of the National Coordination of Citizen Watch Associations (CNAVC) of Tuy, installed on Thursday, November 6, 2025, in Hound©, pledged to serve the province of Tuy and the Burkinab¨ nation with order and discipline.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the new provincial president of the CNAVC/Tuy, Bassirou Saba, emphasized the bureau’s commitment to collaborate with local authorities under the vision of Captain Ibrahim Traor© to build a new, proud, and sovereign Burkina. This statement was made during the official ceremony for the installation of the new executive office of the CNAVC/Tuy, which saw the participation of administrative, military, customary, and religious authorities, alongside a large supportive population.



The newly appointed bureau, consisting of 21 members from various socio-professional backgrounds, has been tasked with serving the Tuy province and the nation for a term of six months. This appointment aligns with a new dynamic initiated by the CNAVC, following a process to refound its fundamental texts. Oumar Traor©, mission officer at the Presidency of Faso for the Guiriko region, conveyed the regional coordinator’s message, acknowledging the commitment of the new members and their vital role in the national movement for citizen vigilance.



He stressed that the CNAVC serves as an instrument for monitoring, action, and transformation in the nation’s service and the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP). Traor© reminded the members that their appointment is a sacred mission and urged them to support the revolution with sincerity, honor, discipline, and patriotism. He encouraged them to embody CNAVC’s founding values: patriotism, integrity, discipline, solidarity, and prioritizing the common good.



The special envoy further emphasized the duty of the members to act, unite, and serve the Burkinab¨ people, particularly in Tuy province, always remembering the CNAVC/Tuy motto: “Resist, watch and build.” Presiding over the ceremony, High Commissioner of Tuy Province, Issiaka Segda, congratulated the new leadership and stressed the importance of maintaining order and discipline. He expressed hope that the new leadership would bring positive change and ensure the progress of the RPP in Tuy Province.
