Abuja: A couple interrupts their wedding procession to participate in Faso Mªbo work: A newlywed couple made a splash on Saturday, July 25, 2026 in Dissihn, by interrupting their wedding procession to participate in the work of the Faso Mªbo agency, before handing over a donation of two bags of cement to the President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune, Benjamin Nana, for the construction site.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Dissihn, Benjamin Nana, welcomed the newlyweds at the construction site of a bridge where the Faso Mªbo committee and the population were mobilized for the work. While the volunteers were working under the leadership of the PDS, the wedding procession, escorted by agents of the Penitentiary Security Guard (GSP), came to a stop.

The newlyweds, still dressed in their wedding attire, immediately joined the workers to contribute to the collective effort. This concerns D©sir Dabir©, a prison security guard, a native of Dissihn working at the Di©bougou detention and correction center, and his wife Rosine Kambir©.

After the celebration of their civil union at the town hall, the couple chose to dedicate this moment of their wedding day to Faso Mªbo work. As a sign of solidarity and support for the initiative, the couple also presented a donation of two bags of cement to PDS Benjamin Nana.

After this civic contribution, the newlyweds returned to the church to continue the religious celebration. The gesture, illustrating the sense of civic duty and patriotic commitment, was welcomed by the municipal authorities and the people present at the construction site.
