Niagho Women’s Coordination Donates 1 Million FCFA to Support Fund

Niagho: The communal women's coordination has donated the sum of 1 million FCFA to the patriotic support fund, marking a significant contribution as part of the "48 Hours of Women" event in Niagho. The event was inaugurated by Domebegu¨re Constantin Dabir©, the High Commissioner of Boulgou Province, and aimed to provide a platform for discussion on women's issues, rights, responsibilities, and opportunities for micro-project financing.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation was part of the women's commitment to supporting the government led by President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©. The event took place on April 5 and 6, 2025, under the theme "Promotion of our cultures, civic, moral and patriotic values: What contribution of the woman of Niagho," highlighting the importance of women's roles in fostering cultural and civic values.

The two-day event included panels discussing women's rights and responsibilities, financing income-generating activities, and fundraising for the patriotic support fund. It also included a donation of food to volunteers for the defense of the homeland and vulnerable families. The coordination presented a receipt for the payment of 1 million francs to the patriotic support fund during the event.

Domebegu¨re Constantin Dabir© expressed satisfaction with the organization of the event and urged for continued efforts towards social cohesion by uniting the people of Niagho for future editions.

The coordinator, Mrs. Compaor©/Cl©mentine Sar©, emphasized the women's support for the government and acknowledged the contributions of traditional and religious leaders. Mariam, the sponsor of the Guebr©/Bambor© activity, reiterated the importance of community support for national initiatives.
