Niangoloko: Bicycle mechanic Molobi¨ Marcel H©ma, a 50-year-old resident of Niangoloko market, embarked on the written tests for the 2026 baccalaureate session on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the municipal high school. Known for his expertise in adjusting spoked rims, Mr. H©ma had an unconventional educational journey, having missed the opportunity to attend school during his childhood, a situation that troubled him for many years.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. H©ma was determined to overcome this gap in his education. In pursuit of knowledge, he enrolled in evening classes and successfully obtained his Primary School Certificate (CEP) in 2008, coincidentally at the same time as some of his children. His quest for education didn’t stop there; after multiple attempts, he achieved his Brevet d’©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC) in 2018.

Now, as a candidate for the baccalaureate, series A, session of 2026, Mr. H©ma is driven by the ambition to secure this diploma and further his academic journey. “It is a pleasure for me to conquer knowledge. Already, my current level allows me to travel through time and space,” he shared, reflecting on his educational pursuits.
