Niangoloko Municipal High School Hosts Massive Cross-Country Race with 1,500 Participants

Niangoloko: The municipal high school of Niangoloko, located in the Comoe province, kicked off its cultural and sporting activities with a grand cross-country race, drawing a remarkable 1,500 participants from various sectors of the community.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event unfolded through several streets of the city, marking the commencement of the high school's sports and cultural initiatives. The primary objective was to encourage the practice of sports within educational institutions and to foster social cohesion among students, school staff, the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), and the broader public.

The cross-country race witnessed enthusiastic participation from a diverse group, including students, school staff, administrative authorities (PDS), members of the school council, the FDS, health personnel, and local residents. This inclusive gathering highlighted the community's commitment to strengthening ties and promoting collective well-being.

Following the conclusion of the race, Mohamed Nabe, the principal of the municipal high school, addressed the students, urging them to uphold discipline, orderliness, and civic responsibility. He emphasized the importance of maintaining harmonious relations with the security forces and the wider community, underscoring the event's role in reinforcing social bonds.
