Sandbondtenga: The new regional director of Sports, Youth and Employment for the Kouls region, Nida Blanche Hien/Traor, has reaffirmed her commitment to conducting her mission in a spirit of consultation with all stakeholders in the sector. She made this commitment during her installation ceremony, where she was officially appointed to her new role by the governor of the region, Colonel-Major Z. Blaise Oudraogo.
According to Burkina Information Agency, upon assuming office, Nida Blanche Hien/Traor expressed her intent to collaborate closely with various stakeholders to tackle the challenges in the sports, youth, and employment sectors across the Kouls region. She also conveyed her gratitude to the administrative authorities and partners for their confidence in her leadership.
The event also marked the departure of the outgoing regional director of Sports and Recreation, Madou Coulibaly, who took the opportunity to reflect on his tenure and expressed his thanks to the regional authorities and sports stakeholders for their support. Governor Colonel-Major Z. Blaise Oudraogo acknowledged the accomplishments of the outgoing official and urged the new director to build on these achievements while bringing fresh energy to address ongoing challenges.
The appointment of Nida Blanche Hien/Traor occurs in the framework of an administrative reorganization that has led to the formation of a unified regional directorate, now encompassing the sports, youth, employment, and leisure sectors in the Kouls region. Previously, Ms. Hien/Traor served as the regional director of youth, vocational training, and employment. Her new role expands her responsibilities to include the management of sports and leisure activities.
The installation ceremony was attended by administrative authorities, representatives of constituted bodies, sports stakeholders, along with partners, family, colleagues, and acquaintances who gathered to support the officials involved.
