Ouagadougou: The governors of the 8 regions of Niger came this Wednesday to report to their head of state, General Abdourahamane Tiani, on their management, 10 months after their appointment by the revolutionary power of Niamey, according to the Niger Press Agency.'Led by Brigadier General Mohamed Toumba, Minister of State for the Interior, Public Security and Territorial Administration, these governors came to report to the Head of State on the activities they had to be carried out after 10 months in office,' reports the ANP .The regional governors were appointed on August 1, 2023, a week after the National Council for the Protection and the Homeland came to power.Niger is subdivided into 8 regions including Agadez, Diffa, Dosso, Maradi, Tahoua, Tillabéri, Zinder plus the urban community of Niamey.Source: Burkina Information Agency
