Nine Forestry Agents in Noumbiel Receive Promotions and New Rank Insignia

Noumbiel: Nine forestry agents promoted to the next rank receive their stripes as part of a solemn ceremony presided over by the High Commissioner of the Noumbiel Province, Drissa Hema. The event took place at the provincial directorate of water and forests, honoring the advancements of the agents who have been promoted to a higher grade since July 2025.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony commenced with a formal flag-raising, followed by the presentation of new rank insignia to the nine agents. The promotions involved four second lieutenants advancing to the rank of lieutenant and five warrant officers moving up to chief warrant officers.

Mr. Hema extended his congratulations to the newly promoted agents, urging them to exhibit responsibility, diligence, and adherence to the ethics of their corps. He emphasized the importance of hard work and selflessness as essential conditions for achieving success.

Commander Athanase Didier Bamouni, the provincial director in charge of water and forests, expressed pride in the recognition and reward of the agents' efforts and dedication. He highlighted the significance of the promotions for the provincial directorate, acknowledging the agents' commitment to their work.
