Nazinon: The active forces of the commune of Nobr, known as the city of Naaba Bilgo, organized an awareness day on Saturday, January 10, 2026, for the students of the Nobr A public primary school. This initiative, led by the citizen watchdog association movement, aimed to support the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the civic day witnessed a strong turnout of local youth and focused on presidential initiatives and the key elements of the Popular Progressive Revolution. This effort was geared towards enhancing civic and patriotic education among the young students.

In a setting filled with patriotic sentiments, the schoolyard hosted a gathering of opinion leaders, local authorities, and students, who are seen as future leaders of the nation. The organizers intended to introduce the students to the values of civic duty, sovereignty, and civic responsibility as promoted by the Transitional authorities.

The event commenced with the performance of the national anthem, Ditany¨, sung in the Moor language. Organizers chose this approach to help children grasp the values of sacrifice and freedom beyond language barriers.

At the event, Sayouba Bonkoungou, head of the Nobr citizen watchdog, encouraged the students to cultivate integrity, a dedication to quality work, patriotism, and a preference for local products. "You are the guardians of tomorrow. Understanding the initiatives of our comrade Captain Ibrahim Traor, President of Burkina Faso, is preparing your future in a sovereign Burkina Faso," he stated.

The students, represented by their spokesperson, committed to maintaining responsible behavior at school and home, adhering to discipline, and respecting state symbols. These commitments were applauded by the teaching staff.

Cathrine Yoda, headmistress of Nobr A public primary school, expressed her appreciation for the initiative, viewing it as a crucial support for civic education. "It is a real pleasure to see the youth of Nobr mobilized for the cause of education. This reassures us regarding the transmission of civic values to younger generations," she highlighted.

This activity underscores the city of Naaba Bilgo's dedication to social mobilization around the ideals of the RPP, emphasizing that these values are instilled in young people's hearts and minds from an early age.
